SAINT MARYS SEMINARY SCHOOL

"Let's us as spiritual leaders bring joy back into religion."

The Church of St. Mary & St. John is an open and friendly face to religion. An inviting and accepting church where people can be themselves without fear of rejection, no matter what their sexuality, race, status, gender. All are welcome to become part of the church.

Helping others find inner peace and happiness might be the most wonderful gift you can give to another, and could be considered one of the most rewarding vocations in life.

St. Mary Seminary

St. Mary Seminary, established in 1901, exists for the personal, spiritual, academic and pastoral preparation of men for the ancient ekklessia gnostic Catholic priesthood. Candidates for the diocesan priesthood reside at St. Mary Seminary and are involved in an extensive program of priestly formation, based on the Program of Priestly Formation of the United States Ekklessia Gnostika Catholic bishoprik Association.

St. Mary Seminary offers an opportunity to grow and develop in one of the most multicultural cities in the United States. All of our faculty have broad and extensive ministerial experience in multicultural settings. The St. Mary Seminary experience fosters the human and spiritual maturity of the candidates as they grow in their relationship with the person of Jesus Christ and in their desire to serve the People of God in their local diocese. The seminary formation program fully integrates the following components of ministerial preparation:
  • Human Formation
  • Spiritual Formation
  • Pastoral Formation
  • Intellectual Formation

The University of St. Gregory & St. Mary Seminary offers a Master of Divinity program to seminary students. The Master of Divinity is a professional degree program designed to develop the academic, spiritual and pastoral skills necessary for ministerial leadership in the Church. The School of Theology also offers a Master of Arts in Theological Studies program to qualified students. For more information about the degree programs offered by the University of St. Gregory School of Theology at St. Mary Seminary.
